Knowledge is Power – This wonderful quote we have heard over and over in our lifetime. But have you ever observed that Just knowing the things is not enough?Have we understood it completely?🤔🤔
There might have been many instances where people share their treasure of knowledge but when they are asked questions about the same, their are unable to answer them. Why this might have happened? Might be they had not understand what they had learned and know completely.
Our Mind is like a Memory card with memories of Eons embedded inside it. Have you ever wondered sometimes how do you know things which you might never have even seen or didn’t even know about?
If we understand the things we know completely, keep learning them till we are satisfied with the knowledge about the those things which we will be having now, it will help us Grow and I ensure you , that Growth would be exponential.
Right from our birth, mind keeps on learning, recording, knowing and even understanding things, they may be visuals or not, its upto us to make our minds think it through and then share it with someone else.
I am reminded here of some beautiful lines from one of the most iconic creators of our beloved Bear Winnie-the-Pooh Author , Sir A.A. Milne to grasp the true difference between knowing and understanding:-
Rabbit’s clever,” said Pooh thoughtfully.
“Yes,” said Piglet, “Rabbit’s clever.”
“And he has Brain.”
“Yes,” said Piglet, “Rabbit has Brain.”
There was a long silence.
“I suppose,” said Pooh, “that that’s why he never understands anything.
In the words of one of the most Incredible Physicist of all times, Sir Albert Einstein, “If you cannot explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough”
So , Don’t just know, Understand.
